Photographers Retreat - tuscany, Italy - May 16-22, 2027

  This is not a teaching workshop. It’s an intimate, soul-filling experience to reignite your creativity. It's a chance to recharge your energy before the busy summer season.

Think of it as a relaxed, immersive escape with wonderful photography opportunities and a chance to partake of the local cuisine and enjoy the slow pace of la dolce vita.

Your home in Tuscany

You’ll stay at Il Maggese, a breathtaking agriturismo near Cortona – a family-owned countryside estate where every meal is prepared with love by the owners, using ingredients grown from their land. They also make their own pasta, olive oil and wine. 

We will visit Cortona, Passignano Sul Trasimeno and Pienza (Where the movie Me, You & Tuscany was filmed.

The Experience

Each day will bring a new location and a new experience. You’ll have a chance to capture life in medieval villages, chase golden light across the hills or vineyards, admire the sunset over a lake or catch a sunrise. Our local guide will take us to places most tourists are unaware of for some truly unique photo opportunities. 

You may bring a model if you wish. The same price applies to them, and their presence will count towards the 8 spots that are available. Photographers may wish to model for each other instead.

The days we spent on location, you will be free to explore and have lunch at your own pace. Each evening, we’ll return to the villa to unwind, share stories, and relive the day’s adventures over unforgettable meals.

There will be some free time as well,  and you may wish to attend an on-site cooking class.

What is included:

6 nights accommodation

6 breakfasts

3 lunches

4 dinners

5 days of exploration and photography or relaxation

Personal guide for the entire time

Daily transportation to locations

What it doesn’t include:

· Airfare

· Most lunches + 1 dinner

· Entry fee to places such as museums etc. if you wish to explore those

· Souvenirs, items purchased while shopping

Note: Travel to and from airport may be arranged if the majority of the group is arriving or leaving at the same time from the same airport. This will be determined later.

The cost for this beautiful experience is $4,200 CAD

A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to reserve your space.

A deposit of $2,425 is required by November 30, 2026.

Must be paid in full by April 15, 2027

If for some reason the trip is cancelled, you will get all your money back, including your non-refundable deposit.
